What sparked your interest in being involved: It’s something new and challenging. I’ve been on a number of OOH trips to the South Pacific over the years, but initially never to Rwanda. This is now my fourth visit to Rwanda.

Similar trips you’ve been on: I’ve been on about 14 OOH trips so far.

What you remember most from a previous trip: One of the highlights was looking after my first ever paediatric patient during my first ever OOH trip to Fiji in 2002. (I usually look after adults)
