What sparked your interest in being involved: I’m finally fulfilling one of my life-long ambitions. I know I will gain so much from this trip, not only as a nurse but also as a person, and I can already see myself volunteering for future projects! I look forward to meeting my colleagues-to-be, and the people from Rwanda, especially the kids. The people and country must be beautiful if they claim to be ”the country of a thousand hills and a million smiles”. They must be a cool bunch!

What you remember most from previous trips: the kids! seeing how they benefit from the surgery, seeing them up and about, is great! plus the great working environment and awesome team work!

Passions/interests: When I’m not working, I spend time with family and friends, and playing soccer, plus relaxing!
